Inglot Duraline, Hawaiian Bar Polish and Blush Review

So I wandered into Inglot in Jervis shopping centre a couple of weeks ago and saw they had a new collection out........uh oh! I already have a little obesession with Inglot so the fact that they had just launched their new 'Hawaiian Bar Collection' that day must have been fate! :) The range includes 12 Nail Polishes, 2 Face and Body Bronzers, 10 Lip Sleeks, 8 Blushes and 5 Pressed Eyeshadows.

Eeeeeek Inglot Goodies!
I had to resist the temptation to purchase the entire collection there and then so I settled for one nail polish and one blush.....and some Duraline. Now that I'm thinking about it I should have bought more! Duraline is part of their permanent collection and was the main reason I went to Inglot in the first place.

Nail Polish #353      Blush#51          Duraline

I wanted to purchase Duraline as I found my gel liner ( Inglot gel liner #77) was becoming a little dried out and harder to work with. Duraline is a liquid that when mixed with any powder eyeshadow or pigment turns it into a liquid eyeliner....TA DAH!! It also helps restore dried out gel liners that have become hard or impossible to work with.

Well it did the trick and now my liner works like new. It will however only keep the product liquid for a few minutes so once it dries you will have to add more Duraline the next time you want to use it. I added 2 drops to my gel liner which was more than enough for me to use on both eyes without rushing and making a mess.

So now onto the new collection! I'll start off with the nail polish. I bought #353 which is a lovely bright coral/peachy colour. When looking at the bottle in person it looks like it has a slight sheen but when applied to the nails it comes out perfectly matte.

#353
I am a sucker for matte nail polish in all colours, I'm not mad about shimmers or sheen and this is quite a pretty colour.

Indoors with flash
I only painted two coats to get it to be completely opaque which is great. I also used the China Glaze Patent Leather Top Coat to protect the polish. I did notice some chipping after the fourth day which isn't too bad.

So finally onto the blush. I have to admit it was the blushes that drew me over to this collection. There are eight Freedom System Blushes in the Hawaiian Bar collection. For those of you that aren't familiar with Inglot they have a Freedom System in which you can buy an empty palette and fill it with eyeshadows and blush of your choice.

Blush #51 No Flash

Inglot Blushes are a dream to work with. They are silky soft and very pigmented and this one is no different! I went for this colour over the others as I didn't really have anything like it already in my collection.

Blush #51 Swatch

As you can see from the swatch the colour is very buildable which makes it quite a versatile blush. The swatch on the left is just one stroke and the swatch on the right is three layered on top of one another. This is a matte blush so there is none of that shimmer or sparkle that most of the blushes from the permanent line have. It gives a lovely glow to the cheeks without making you look like a clown! :)

This is the perfect girly pink without being overly pink. Its bright but not overbearing and definately wearable for everyday. Well done Inglot!
